system used only by Government organizations?
The Electronic Tendering System (ETS) promotes best practices
in complex, collaborative procurement and supports the RFx
process in any scenario either public or private procurement.
2. What type of documents
will I receive?
The ETS supports all types of file extensions as attachments
to a tender document. There is also provision for using online
forms for submission of bids.
3. What software
do I need to have on my system to be able to view these documents?
The ETS is a web-based solution and requires nothing more
than a Web Browser and Internet connectivity for operation.
4. How do I let some people
in my company view the tenders while I prevent some others
from viewing it?
The ETS architecture is based on the console or desktop model
and uses various authentication and authorization methods
to ensure that the information is viewed by intended recipients
only.
5. How secure is this system?
The ETS system uses 128-bit SSL encryption, role based authentication
and authorization and is PKI ready to ensure that the data
transmitted and held within the system remain secure.
